Network Usage

Word Suggestions Service

Crossword Designer uses the Datamuse API (api.datamuse.com) to provide word suggestions when you're creating crossword puzzles. When you request word suggestions:

• We send only the word pattern you're trying to fill (e.g., "c_t" for a 3-letter word starting with 'c' and ending with 't')
• No personal information is sent with these requests
• The Datamuse service operates independently and has its own privacy policy
• These requests are made only when you actively request word suggestions
• You can use the app without internet connectivity using the built-in offline dictionary

In-App Purchases

• Donation purchases are processed through Apple's App Store
• We do not collect or store any payment information
• All purchase processing is handled by Apple according to their privacy policies

Data Storage and Security

• All app data is stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage mechanisms
• No data is transmitted to our servers or any third-party services (except word suggestion requests as described above)
• When you delete the app, all associated data is removed from your device

Children's Privacy

Our app does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app is designed to be safe for users of all ages.

Your Rights and Choices

• You can use the app without internet connectivity - the built-in offline dictionary will be used automatically when no internet connection is available
• You can delete all app data by deleting the app from your device
• You have full control over all puzzles and data created within the app
